A. Every drop of BRAZILIAN SPRINGS WATER comes from a single spring surrounded by a protected forest in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains near Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. This natural spring site is located within 633 acres of protected land. Even the origins of our water couldn’t be purer. A hydrological report using carbon-dating found that the water coming from our spring today first fell as rain over Hot Springs about 3,500 years ago. From raindrop to natural underground spring, the water is untouched and free from impurities.

B. Our company is donating a full 10% of our TOTAL (GROSS) SALES. Let there be no confusion here. We actually factor in this value as a cost to us and therefore it is GUARANTEED that there is money available to donate from each and every single bottle that we sell. You can rest assured that there will be a portion of the money that you spend for our product destined to help save the rainforests of Brazil. There is no guessing. What do we mean when we say that our company is donating a full 10% of our TOTAL (GROSS) SALES to help to save the rainforests of Brazil? There are a few products which donate money to various causes which keep basing their contributions on their profits. It sounds wonderful when these operations state that 100% or 50% of their profits will go for this or that. In business a company can control their so-called profits by taking large salaries, bonuses and spending large sums on perquisites for the officers and owners. When you think about it, it all sounds good until you really do sit down and analyze it. We at BRAZILIAN SPRINGS, on the other hand, felt that to truly GUARANTEE a pre-destined donation to help save the rainforests we had to configure this another more fair way.

When we state 10% of our TOTAL (GROSS) SALES we mean that we will contribute 10% of the TOTAL amount of money which we receive from the retailer when we sell them this product. Not dependent upon profits or losses, we actually factor the donation into our cost, guaranteeing 100% that your contribution is at work. We never ever have to guess or wait until the end of the month, quarter or year to determine if there are funds to help save the Brazilian Rainforests.

HOW MUCH RAIN FOREST AM I PROTECTING

We have based the actual costs of the lands destined to be purchased in these great forests and determined the prevailing prices per acre of each area. As our label and overlay brochure indicates, we figure that with each bottle, our company donation will enable the BRAZILIAN RAINFOREST PRESERVATION FOUNDATION, INC. to buy about 90 square feet of the Amazon; this equates to about 100 packs of 6 bottles or 50 packs of 12 bottles to save an acre. The Atlantic Rainforest property is slightly more costly due to it´s proximity to the more urban areas of Brazil. Our on-site staff in Brazil directly monitors all property purchases and assists local agencies in the protective management of these forest areas acquired and saved for the benefit of us all.
